Dr. Adam Cobb, Organist

We are absolutely thrilled to have Adam on the bench for what will be a spectacular night!

Dr. Adam Cobb is an organist, conductor, and composer whose performances have taken him throughout the United States and abroad. He has appeared in recital on some of North America's most celebrated instruments, including multiple engagements on the Midmer-Losh Organ at Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, the largest pipe organ in the world. His recital appearances have also included Princeton University Chapel, Holy Name of Jesus Cathedral, and performances for chapters of the American Guild of Organists and the Organ Historical Society.

In addition to his recital career, Dr. Cobb serves as Assistant Organist and Choirmaster at Christ Church in Raleigh, North Carolina, and previously served as Assistant University Organist at The University of the South (Sewanee). He holds the Doctor of Music and Master of Music degrees in Organ Performance from Florida State University and a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition from Samford University.

An active composer of sacred music, Dr. Cobb's liturgical works include settings of the Magnificat, Nunc Dimittis, and Preces and Responses, which have been performed by churches and cathedrals throughout the Southeast. He has studied at the International Haarlem Organ Festival in the Netherlands and with Dame Gillian Weir.
